You can use No-Dig Edging with weed fabric for an extra layer of weed protection. The spikes will pierce through weed fabric easily and help secure the barrier. The 1.25 inch high EasyFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging is strong enough to retain bedding materials including pine needles, lava stone, river rock, cedar, plastic, wood mulch and more.
